HURDO Somalia is proud to share the inspiring progress of 30 women and girls who have successfully reached Week Four of their Henna Art, Tailoring, and Tie & Dye skills training.

This Livelihoods Training Program, implemented under the #StrongerTogetherProject, is equipping participants with practical, market-oriented skills that can be immediately translated into income-generating opportunities. Through hands-on training in Henna Art, Tailoring, and Tie & Dye, the program is helping the 30 trainees build confidence, creativity, and technical expertise while strengthening their pathways toward economic independence.

Beyond technical instruction, the program also integrates elements of business awareness, entrepreneurship, and financial literacy, ensuring that participants are not only skilled artisans but also capable of establishing, managing, and expanding small-scale enterprises. This holistic approach supports internally displaced women and girls from vulnerable communities to rebuild their livelihoods, enhance household income, and improve long-term resilience.
