HURDO Somalia, in partnership with action medeor e.V. and funded by BMZ (Bundesministerium für wirtschaftliche Zusammenarbeit und Entwicklung), proudly conducted a transformative Income Generating Activities (IGA) and entrepreneurship training under the Stronger Together project. This initiative is a pivotal step toward advancing women empowerment in Somalia and fostering economic independence.
Key Highlights of the Training in Mogadishu
- Participants : 20 resilient women and girls from IDPs and the host community in Hodan District, Mogadishu.
- Focus Areas : Financial literacy, business skills, and sustainable income generation.
- Objective : Equip women with tools to start and sustain their own businesses.
The training emphasized essential financial literacy and business skills, empowering participants to break barriers and build self-reliance.
